Chivalry Earrings

These Tudor style swords date back to the 50’s and were adornments meant to be sewn into a jacket’s lapel. The handles and tips are hand painted and sealed with resin, with their blade’s aged patina left alone; these noble pendants hang from sterling silver hooks. 

The sword is used to symbolize justice and chivalry; Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines chivalry as:

Knighthood; a military dignity, founded on the service of soldiers on horseback, called knights; a service formerly deemed more honorable than service in infantry
