Fallen Forget-Me-Not Earrings

Forget-Me-Nots are a pretty perennial named after a German folktale. After a knight and his lover were strolling along a riverbank, they came across the tiny blue flowers and as he bent over in his armour to pick her a bouquet, he slipped into the water to his demise after yelling for her not to forget him. She is said to have worn the blossoms in her hair until her dying day.
