Inspired by love tokens of the 18th century. At a time when communication between lovers was often limited to handwritten letters; intricately engraved coins personalized with terms of endearment, dates, and memories were given as precious reminders of affection.
This is an engraved Malaysian ringgit with it’s original floral design on the back, and hand engraved ‘Lover’ with flowers and hearts on the front. Hanging from an 18” gold-filled satellite chain.
