The Lost Weekend Locket

This beautiful antique pendant is named after The Lost Weekend because it seems to encapsulate everything I love about vintage jewellery. It’s gold, it has imperfections that show the hundred years of history and the women that have worn it, the locket adds an element of interactiveness & secrecy, it’s subtle coffin shape is reminiscent of Memento Mori jewellery, and of course, the flowers.

This gold filled locket is from the early 1920’s and hangs from an 18” 14k gold-plated sterling silver box chain; it has engraved detailing with the initials ‘PR’.
